About Carol

Carol has a life-long passion for movement and exercise, from childhood dance and athletics, to studying physical education and health in college, to over 20 years of horseback riding, to ongoing Ballroom Dance.  She fell in love with GYROTONIC® Exercise during her first lesson and found it so rewarding and therapeutic she knew that she had to share it with others. Carol brings to her teaching an extensive knowledge of sports and exercise, a broad background in health and wellness, and her love and enthusiasm for sharing these passions with others. Her goal is to help her clients enhance their overall quality of life by increasing body-awareness, enabling movement with greater strength, flexibility and ease, and providing an outlet for deeply stored tension in the body in a stress-free environment.

What is GYROTONIC® Exercise?

The Creator of GYROTONIC® Exercise

Juliu Horvath created GYROTONIC® exercise and equipment after many years of intense study and self-exploration. A former dancer with many injuries, Juliu’s quest for self-healing spawned an entirely new way to bring one’s self into perfect alignment and balance while exercising the entire body in a safe, supported manner.

The body is designed to work as one harmonious system, to follow arching and spiraling paths of motion and to transition from one movement to the next smoothly and efficiently. GYROTONIC® method creator, Juliu Horvath, designed a specialized line of equipment around these natural movement patterns of the human body.

Because this equipment is highly adjustable, it can be customized to fit each person’s unique physique, and ability.
